Obsolete and false Tango guide!
I'm fairly disappointed by this tango guide. Even if the author is very clear in his explanation and moves very smoothly, I have to say that it's not teaching "tango" but "STAGE tango". It's something you can't ever dance in a Buenos Aires Milonga like "El Beso" or "Cachirulo" en Maipu. This is a tango style which is not so respectful of woman (beware of large spine movements on the Ocho Atras) and it doesn't say that man is the only one that can make the woman do some moves (check out the gancho lesson, where the woman does the gancho as her own wish). It's a real shame. Tango milonguero is the REAL tango, the one which is really played in the Capital Federal and not this stage version which can not be danced in a ballroom. Pity.

These videos are a life-saver, i can almost never remember the sequences, and loose half of class time asking to review. Thank you very much, the videos are greatly appreciated!

Other dance instruction video gives me overload. Miguel Angel Pla, an instructor that comes up our way on...Read full review »
