i want more! fellow gcp-ers, listen to this one!
i search through many actual play podcasts and this is my first ever review of a podcast, so there’s something special about dark dice. i’m a longtime listener and patron of the glass cannon podcast. those guys are amazing (the naish knows), but i’m constantly on the prowl for other ap’s to fill those empty hours. dark dice has got a lot of things going for it. a very cool narrative style, it hooked me right away unlike other ap’s; the addition of cthulhu horror elements; some amazing voice actors. i swear the guy playing soren reminds me of cary elwes in the princess bride, he has such a soothing voice; very good audio/sound design. the only quibble i have is that they only release about once a month. i’ve already binged through all of their content in a day. to the creators, i would prefer more content that is less sound designed. i don’t need to hear all the sword slashes and hits and groans. it’s nice, but i’d rather have more character moments. that’s the real magic of dnd after all. amazing product overall, great job, i just want more sooner.

Interesting and has its humor. “Sure, I’ll help you find the missing children,” Then she cackles menacingly. “ yeah-good times.” More from the drow voice actor, please, that dudes hella funny. I hearthishow , thank you story tellers.

Finally found a TTRPG podcast that can hold my interest at the standards of Glass Cannon Network and Hero Club! Loving the work these guys put into the game.

Great show. Good story. The worst thing is seeing your favorite characters die, and worrying whether or not they'll survive. Really good, though.Read full review »
