Where I went wrong before was by listening to over 6 podcasts daily from 6 different creators. This did not help me learn but had different ideas and sometimes competing ideas all in the same day. This did not help with focus but led to a blurry vision of what to do. Be intentional about selecting a small handful of voices to speak into your life. Then grow deeper into what you are learning.
I am in the Navy and am not a senior leader. In fact the saying goes, “Enlisted make recommendations, Officers make decisions.” Listen to that for too long and you forget you are responsible for yourself and the key decision maker for what you focus on and how you respond to a changing world around you.
This podcast and the Darren Daily have helped me to get better everyday. Insane Productivity and Ludicrous Leadership took it to a whole different level!
