Why Dartmouth? Voices of the Class of 2027

Description
If you’ve been invited by the Office of Admissions to join the Dartmouth Class of 2027 during the regular decision process, you now have some decisions of your own to consider. As you do so, we thought it would be helpful to revisit a question we asked you on your application: “Why Dartmouth?” In this special podcast episode, Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid Lee Coffin—whose signature appears in green at the bottom of your acceptance letter—introduces you to eight people who could be your future classmates. Each was admitted to the Class of 2027, and has confirmed their enrollment, through the early decision process. And we’ve asked each to read aloud from the essays they wrote when asked, “Why Dartmouth?” Dean Coffin also shares details about “this historic, enchanting place in the woods” that made them—and, we believe, make you—a good fit. Welcome to Dartmouth! We very much hope to see you on campus.
