Esoteric meaning alert
The hidden subject matter of this podcast is the presenter himself, the psychological state of the lapsed or shocked Evangelical. Dan here seems to be massively overcorrecting in that he has gone in hard on radical deconstruction, not only his faith but society and even the human being (pronouns in bio). In the latest episode a guest interviewer got away with saying “..quote unquote Us” without demur.

Dan and Dan make biblical history approachable. It’s fairly easy to understand and addresses many issues in modern biblical beliefs vs evidence of what the ancients likely meant. If it interferes with your beliefs, you might need to locate the source of your beliefs. They have the receipts.
