“There are a couple of reviews here that are negative about the mini-episodes with Linda. However, most likely if you do DS professionally and progress in your career, I think you will end up working for someone like Linda and have to explain many of these topics to that person. Such explanations are not easy (boosting? log odds of logistic regression?) and the mini-episodes offer examples of how to explain complicated DS/ML topics to laypeople who might be telling you what to do at your next job! Kyle does not always succeed at this and those are the moments to pay more attention if you listen to the mini-episodes with this purpose.”
