“I love this, it’s probably my favorite podcast, most all of the episodes are extremely well done. Very well written and well told. Keith Morrison is an actual national treasure. I could listen to him forever honestly. Leslie holt and denis are fantastic too! But gaaah, I hate to say it because I hate putting down other women but Andrea Canning, while her episodes are usually still great in substance, the way she speaks can be seriously unbearable. While she narrates she ends every sentence with a higher pitch tone, as if everything is a question? Even if it’s just, a sentence? It is SO obnoxious?
Really though, i don’t understand why a highly notable professional would do that haha its super bizzare!
I also don’t like how she interjects her own little phrases/analogies in to the guests stories.. for example in a recent one listened to someone was speaking and she said “did you almost feel like, you are without a compass?” In reference to someone passing away.. like lady, let them tell their story, you don’t need to pepper in your annoying similies. It adds nothing to it. She does it every episode usually multiple times it’s almost like she’s so obsessed with her own voice she can’t sit through a guest speaking long enough for them to finish their stories.. I really hope one day a guest says “no, not at all, that is a terrible analogy” lol
