Creative, witty and immersive adventure
The audio quality is just about perfect. There’s a genuine rapport between the players and DM, so that it feels as though the listener is part of the group. The storytelling and creative interplay is extremely engaging, and they keep the pace up - no long pauses for calculations. It’s very accessible for new players, and the DM’s descriptions really enable you to imagine the scenes as they unfold and get to know the characters encountered (from the various bemused bystanders who encounter the ill-assorted band of heroes in taverns, to Jiggalump, the fat cat with an implacable thirst for revenge on his owner). All involved take the rules of the game seriously, but are very much alive to the comedy aspects and accept everything thrown at them in good humour. I have laughed out loud several times on public transport. Already listened twice through the series and cannot wait for more episodes to be released.

I’ve been trying to find a D&D podcast I like, but they all focus way too much on the boring stuff, and the Sanspants teams are the perfect people to make a hilarious D&D show like this. RIP Cartmichael.

Absolutely cannot get enough of the sanspants crew and they play d&d too? Literally spam listened over two days to catch up. 10/10 for the banter and Adam for dishing out as much schtick as he gets.
