“To preface, I didn’t actually like horror movies. I am definitely a wimp and much like Chelsea do not enjoy being scared. But over the last year, James and Chelsea have made me fall in love with a genre that I never gave the time of day.
As a US history teacher, I love that they incorporate historical nuance to movies that I would never expect it from. Their banter is always so fun to keep up with and their jokes always make me laugh. They go into detail and the research is thorough.
I began listening after my break up last year, so James and Chelsea gave me something to look forward to when I really didn’t have anything.
James and Chelsea, you guys don’t understand the joy you bring and the connection you’ve allowed to make just by watching your channel (ex. My tattoo artist had a Chopping Mall poster on his wall and we had a conversation about horror movies the entire appointment).
I now subscribe to every platform and the Patreon to stay up to date with my favorite husband and wife who liked to get scared together.
I cannot recommend this podcast (and YouTube channel) enough; it has something for everyone, even those who may not be huge horror fans. It has become so much of “my thing” that my friends all know the intro and will say “James and Chels?” as I turn on a Kill Count or Podcast; And of course it’s always James and Chels lol
