Fascinating personal insight, A1 storytelling
This story is told from a very intimate, candid, personal and honest perspective. The parents of the producer became wrapped up in a pseudo-hindu cult founded by a westerner from Long Island New York. The producer, their child, describes the genuine experiences he and his parents witnessed and how they were drawn into the group only to get chewed up and spat out in what can only be described as a very nasty, cruel and heartless fashion. I found this thoroughly engrossing and listened to the whole series in two binge sessions.

Interesting story that could have gone into more depth. Not sure if other listeners found the perspective to be a little navel-gazing? Maybe that’s just the times in which we live. The “Call Me”-inspired music was a little grating as well.

Went down hill from there..... Boring. Like reading a 14 year old’s diary... oh wait.. that was the podcast. Skip it.

High quality serial. Very interesting to hear how growing up in the ‘guru’ culture affected the narrator. Thoughtful and very well produced.
