just because you may not understand the reason for which some things happen doesn’t mean that it didn’t happen for a reason. we need to humble ourselves to the fact that we do not own nor did we create anything in this world to decide whether or not it happened for a reason. God (Allah), whether you believe in Him or "not," caused everything to happen for a purpose and a plan greater than our understanding. stay optimistic by knowing that you are not in control of most things, but Allah is perfect in ability and you CAN trust Him, even in your own uncertainty. He is the best in rewarding and the best in respect of the final outcome. وَٱضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا كَمَآءٍ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَٱخْتَلَطَ بِهِۦ نَبَاتُ ٱلْأَرْضِ فَأَصْبَحَ هَشِيمًۭا تَذْرُوهُ ٱلرِّيَـٰحُ ۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ مُّقْتَدِرًا ٤٥ Transliteration: Wadthrib lahum mathalal hayaatid dunyaa kamaaa’in anzalnaahu minas samaaa’i fakhtalatha bihee nabaatul ardi fa asbaha hasheeman tadroo hur riyaah; wa kaanal laahu ‘alaa kulli shai’im muqtadiraa English translation: Give them an example about worldly life. It is like the vegetation of the earth that thrives when watered by the rain, which We send down from the sky, and then it all becomes stubble which the wind blows away. God has power over all things. It is you who stand in need of Allah, but Allah ˹alone˺ is the Self-Sufficient, Praiseworthy. إِن يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ وَيَأْتِ بِخَلْقٍۢ جَدِيدٍۢ ١٦ Transliteration: Iny yasha' yuzhibkum wa ya'ti bikhalqin jadeed English translation: If He willed, He could eliminate you and produce a new creation. وَمَا ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ بِعَزِيزٍۢ ١٧ Transliteration: Wa maa zaalika 'alal laahi bi'azeez English translation: And that is not difficult for Allah ˹at all˺.
