“Weary of self aggrandizing neoliberalism. White presenting women applauding themselves…centering themselves…while teaching white women how not to do the same…? If all you talk about it “women” without acknowledging the nuance of our experience ((outside of your own individual experiences)) what are you really doing. Such a wide platform to perpetuate the problem. Cite black women, interview brown women, acknowledge nuance, if you don’t you’re the problem. Talking about identity without acknowledging nuance (of people other than yourselves) exploits the poc you are claiming to represent… A great example is “looking at” reaganomics without examining it along racial lines. You have a platform. Educate…or don’t but could be less condescending and fake woke about it.”
