Most recently, he was Head of Global Markets in the Middle East, North Africa, and Pakistan, for Standard Chartered Bank, retiring in 2015 as CEO/Chairman of the Board in Lebanon.  Currently, he is a regular OpEd writer and lecturer in economics, monetary policy, and political reform.
