Nostalgic Bengalureans recall those good old fun days of double-decker city commute Hello and welcome to DH Radio. Once upon a time in Bengaluru, double-decker buses were a fun way to commute within the city. But they were phased out in the late 1990s as vehicular numbers overwhelmed the roads. But now, the BMTC wants them back in a new, electric, air-conditioned avatar. At least five of them will be on the streets by July-August this year.
