An aussie who is still listening, despite what was said in the 1991 episode!
Hi, I stumbled across your podcast whilst I was recovering from having a stroke in September 2021. I can honestly say that the podcast has aided in my recovery. The shows that you have presented so far, have been incredibly informative, entertaining and very very funny. I have very eclectic musical taste and knew a lot about most genres of music. However you guys have opened up new avenues of music and cultural references to me. I particularly like the format of how the podcasts are presented and that on most episodes there is at least one or two songs that the rest of you were not aware of that one of your presents, which keeps the podcast fresh and exciting. Well done! It’s really great to hear guys in their 50s still sounding so passionate and excited about music and you can really tell a close bond and love you all have for each other. I visited Boston in 1988, but as I am eight years older than all of you, it would’ve been highly unlikely that I would’ve gone to any gigs that you went to, as I was chasing a very lovely 18-year-old girl at the time Who was staying at Boston College, which turned out to be a fruitless pursuit. I should’ve just gone and seen as much music as I could!I have been fortunate enough to visit LA many times, gone to Seattle and Chicago and live for a time in New York City, during the early 90s, so the periods that the podcast is currently covering, hold a very special place in my life. I am legally blind so unfortunately, or fortunately, I would not get very much out of been able to see what you all look like on the web cast. I hope your podcast goes from strength to strength and I eagerly look forward to the next episode dropping in my podcast feed take care, ciao for now, Ross Salvaggio, Sydney Australia

The boys’ musical knowledge is evident, as is their comraderie. Come for the tunes, stay for the pop culture references. #loveitthanks

This podcast keeps my toes tapping and head bopping but it also has me looking like a lunatic. I often listen while I’m commuting in the city of Boston. I walk to work and I listen to Deep Cuts. And I laugh out loud while walking down Commonwealth Ave, making me appear like a crazy person. I...Read full review »
