Women play a significant role in peacebuilding and mediation but their voices often remain unheard. Magda Zenon, a Cypriot member of the Mediterranean Women Mediators Network (MWMN), in collaboration with UN Women, is launching #HerStories, a new podcast series aimed at increasing the visibility and amplifying the voices of women mediators and peacebuilders. In each episode a different member of the MWMN will narrate her story. Coming from diverse contexts and facing different challenges, each guest will share her experiences and her success story, and will reflect on the role women play in peacebuilding.
