We’re back and we’re more silent and mad than ever! This week we’re talking 1984 3-D slasher SILENT MADNESS!!! This slasher stars Belinda Montgomery as Dr. Joan Gilmore, a committed and idealistic psychologist from Brooklyn who discovers that her hospital has accidentally released a notorious mass murderer (or have they?) and travels to a small women’s college with hopes of finding him and saving the Sorority Sisters living where the murders occurred. We’ve got some genre icons in this one with Sidney Lassick as the s****y Sheriff and Elizabeth Kaitan in her first role! Overall, Silent Madness isn’t terrible, kind of just very middling, particularly with so many superior additions to the genre coming out at around the same time with similar plots. But, we still liked it! Blood and guts and everything!
