“I’ll write another review about the show which I like quite a lot so far. Unfortunately however, the sophisticated sound design might work in a good audio system or headphones but not in a regular car audio system where you need to compete with exterior noise. The first three episodes feature a lot of heavy noises and sound effects that make the voices inaudible. The heavy breathing in diving masks (Jack) and alarm signals simultaneously to speech make it impossible to understand what’s going on and turning up the volume hard make your ears bleed or brain to liquify. It’s a shame, will listen to it outside of the commute, which is my heaviest podcast use case.”
