“I easily listen to 30+ True Crime and news podcasts while working (I work alone in a workshop 40+ hours a week). Some of those are comedy-true crime, but I much prefer the more serious, factual pods that stay on topic and handle the topics and victims in a respectful manner.
I came across Crime Weekly a few months ago and added it to my rotation. Something was mentioned in that podcast about Detective Perspective and I checked it out.
I really like Derrick’s comprehensive coverage, his knowledge based on his experience, and his thoughtful (and respectful) perspective. I also appreciate that Derrick knows where his expertise lies and where it doesn’t; bringing up testimonies and statements of psychologists, forensic experts, etc. to qualify his conclusions and perspective.
This is quickly becoming one of my top five.”
