Sexist patriarchal men - don’t support this podcast
One of the men who manages this podcast reached out to me to interview me as a potential guest. I was excited for the opportunity until my point of contact started using inappropriate sexist authority and giving me unsolicited career advice. He was encouraging me to change careers from infrastructure software engineering at Google to developer advocacy— for no reason. When I called him out for it and told him it would now cost him to interview me because he disrespected me, he doubled down on his disrespect and uninvited me onto the podcast. Please don’t support men like this or their avenues of mass communication. They are virus to society in their unwillingness to become better, inclusive, less toxic men.
