If you’re not listening to to Diaspora United you’re not getting a holistic picture of the women’s game. Compelling, detailed, and for those of us who have thoughts about players getting 500 minutes in NWSL it’s satisfying to hear others who love the game like me. I don’t have a dad joke because I’m too busy managing a cinnamon roll shop and I don’t have the time to come up with them. I will tell you one trick of the trade: I play ‘80s R&B music to get people to come in to work at 4 a.m. Do you know why? Because Anita Baker. I know you wanted something better but… I’m giving you the best that I got!

When a player they like and need to hype up has a bad game, excuses abound and of course it’s the opposite for...Read full review »
