“i’m here to edit this review now that gold cup is over. i am canadian and i gotta say i really appreciate the way y’all cover other national teams that aren’t the uswnt. you take them seriously and though y’all cheer for the uswnt, the analysis you provide is unbiased and you give credit where it’s due. also, i think it would be absolutely hilarious if andré’s middle name was carl. andré carl carlisle.
could not recommend enough. a great balance of laughs and valuable insight. this pod creates space for black women in a sport that is traditionally (in the states and canada) very white and i really appreciate and enjoy that. listening is never a waste of my time. take it from me, a gooner (aka, fan of White Blondie FC, le sigh). terrible dad joke: a termite walks into a bar and asks “is the bar tender here?””
