I really want to like this podcast
I have been a long time follower of Tori’s workouts (she got me through the pandemic!) and I want to like this podcast so much, so I’m willing to keep giving it a chance. But my initial thoughts after the first episode is that it’s extremely out of touch. I know it’s based on personal experience and a lot of this can’t be helped - but I wish there was more sensitivity around the fact that not all women just get pregnant their first try, work as influencers with flexible schedules and a lot of disposable income, have the privilege of bopping around different doctors without a care in the world to find somewhere they feel “seen”, can afford $60 a month pre-natals, etc. I’m hopeful that when they bring on experts, it will offer a more diverse and well rounded view of pregnancy that more women can relate to - because so far, this definitely isn’t it. I’ll keep listening because I think this is a great concept and we need more honesty around motherhood and pregnancy, but I really hope they learn to check their privilege at the door and offer a more diverse viewpoint.

Such an easy listen, I play it in the car when my daughter is going to and from daycare and even she laughs along! It’s like a little mom chat and check in every week with short and sweet episodes that remind you YOURE NOT ALONE!
