Cari Bailey Smith, MS, RD, LD, CNSC, is a Dietitian Training Specialist with Option Care Health.  In this role, Cari develops nutrition training curriculum for clinical and operational staff and facilitates clinical nutrition training programs for newly hired clinicians.  With more than 20 years’ experience as a registered dietitian, she has held positions in the acute care setting, home infusion and supply chain. Cari holds a Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Science degree from Illinois State University, is a member of ASPEN, and has been involved with several research publications including her most recent manuscript entitled Gastroparesis:  A Clinical Overview published in the January/February edition of Infusion magazine produced by the National Home Infusion Association.  This episode is hosted by Christina M.
