Description
Today, Digger Rex is digging for dinos in Montana. Montana is a western state in the USA that is well known for its beautiful and diverse landscapes. It has everything from the Rocky Mountains to the Great Plains! It just so happens that Digger Rex has found the perfect spot for dinosaur digging. It’s called the Upper Jurassic Morrison Formation and it’s heaven on earth for palaeontologists. In fact, once the first fossils were discovered in the Upper Jurassic Morrison Formation in 1877, it became the center of The Bone Wars, a famous fossil-collecting rivalry between early palaeontologists Othniel Charles March and Edward Drinker Cope.
