“This story hits close to home with me because my dad was in a similarly toxic relationship with a narcissist woman. I found myself wrapped up in the story and finished it in one sitting.
To those who don’t understand Debra’s actions have never encountered a narcissist or their prey. A lot of what this family experienced mirrored what my family has/is dealing with. I gave only 4 stars because I wish this theme would have been at least touched on, instead he was made out to be just a run of the mill con man.
Narcissistic abuse is real and very dangerous! I wish there was a way to save victims from the damage of a narcissist, but sadly it is almost impossible and will undoubtedly end messy.”
