“Amazing podcast .... it’s really brought me up close and personal.. I have so much respect for the Newell’s as well as johns family for the impact and trauma they faced .
As a fellow survivor and fighter of abuse - I resonate deeply with the story and truly understand how it effected each individual . I do have to say it bothers me deeply that people could comment on how people speak when talking about horrific times in their lives, or judge somebody for their decisions- when in love with a sociopath narcissist. It’s easy to ask “why don’t you just leave?” If it was that easy.... abusive and dangerous relationships wouldn’t exist. I found it fowl and offensive. Just because you don’t understand something doesn’t make it wrong.
I enjoyed this podcast and I appreciate the family for sharing their story to help bring light to those who are stuck or fighting and feel afraid . There is hope.”
