On this episode, I welcome special guest and comrade Xiang Yu - an American Taiwanese musician who made a music video in Pyongyang some years back. We chat about his time in North Korea, making music there, how he got into the world of North Korea and how his family also has ties to the Korean Peninsula - including in the North.
We end up just having a good ol' chat and I hope you enjoy it as much as enjoyed making it!
A massive thanks to Xiang Yu for the great conversation, the great soju, and actually for providing all the awesome equipment and set-up, as well as editing and producing this entire episode (hence why it sounds so good!). All credits to him!
You can find him and listen to his music by searching "鍾翔宇 Xiangyu" or checking out YouTube, Instagram, Apple Music and Spotify etc (wherever you get your music!).
