Description
There are so many stories we read in the Gospels where we wish we had more details. Jesus tells parables that we wish had more of an explanation. Jesus often uses complicated metaphors that we wish came with more questions and answers. Basically, we often wish we had more context to understand what Jesus is driving at. Well for the next two weeks, we are going to focus on one of the stories in the Gospels that comes with soooooo many details, context, questions, responses, parables, and metaphors. It’s a fascinating story, and it’s one that I think sets us up to think differently about our lives as we think about what it means to follow Jesus today. Let’s go on a journey together to unpack this multi-scene story in John 9 and 10, and see how this might influence our understanding of Jesus as the Good Shepherd.   WAYS TO LISTEN & SUBSCRIBE: 📱On our website: https://www.discovertheword.org 🎧Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/3x2Swlq 🎧Spotify: https://spoti.fi/3mk8ra1 🎧Amazon Music: https://amzn.to/3D9Tttv 🎧Google Podcasts: https://bit.ly/3x7gMD3 LOOKING FOR MORE EPISODES of the Discover the Word Podcast?
