Description
Quercetin is a bioactive phytonutrient that has a lot of really cool properties and my hope is that you’ll walk away today knowing what quercetin is, what it can be used for to promote health, and some different ways that you can get quercetin in your diet and through science based supplementation. We used to think that the main reason apples were so good for us was because of the fiber they contain, which is very healthy for the body, but we’ve recently started to discover that one of the major benefits of apples is the phytonutrients, the polyphenols, and especially this really cool flavonoid called quercetin. This phytonutrient has been found to help improve cholesterol levels, blood pressure, and even improve symptoms of PCOS in women.
