He followed with his ninth studio album, his first with The Silver Bullet Band - 'Night Moves', in October of' '76. Thanks to the hit singles "Main Street", "Rock and Roll Never Forgets" and "Night Moves" the album reached #8 on Billboard and sold six million copies in the US. 1978's 'Stranger In Town' was another huge hit, six times platinum, a #4 placing on Billboard and four more hit singles - "Still The Same", "Hollywood Nights", "We've Got Tonight" and "Old Time Rock & Roll".
