“Dispatches From Myrtle Beach has to be one of the most comforting podcasts that are out there today.
As a son, having talks with my dad is one of the most important things in my life. However, since his mild stroke, things changed. I didn’t talk to him as much, and it made me depressed. I didn’t know how to start conversations with him that weren’t about his health.
Then, Link and Charles entered.
Hearing their conversations changed my life. It helped me in three ways: Provide humor when I needed it, introduced great talking points to mention with my dad and how much it means to have a father/son relationship. Just hearing two bright souls connect and have an entertaining-yet-thoughtful 30+ minute conversation motivates me.
