Domestic Violence Awareness Month was launched nationwide in October of 1987, and in the last 35 years, so much progress has been made. Yet domestic violence, sexual violence, violence against women, men, children, intimate partner violence - all of those continue to exist. Today, we have a special episode to kick off Domestic Violence Awareness month to ensure our collective approach to supporting victims and survivors models current best practices. Our guest today is Leslie Jingluski. Leslie has a vast background in victim and survivor advocacy.
