What is generational trauma, and how does it influence our lives? Why don't older generations acknowledge this type of trauma, and what is my personal experience with it? I will also touch on how the tragic chapter of Kalmyk history: the Siberian Exile of 1943, during which Kalmyk people were deported to Siberia and spent 13 years stigmatised as 'enemies of the nation' might have influenced us.
