The Marie Antoinette of divorce advice
If you want a look into a glaringly apolitical bubble of immense privilege, seemingly unaffected by gender income inequality, racial bias, economic abuse by your partner, sever trauma, made possible by having a weekly blowout, a personal chef, a personal trainer, multiple trips abroad during a pandemic, helicopter rides, professional seasonal home decorating, personal assistants, animal sitters, on call nannies, and never ending medical youth treatments, then this podcast is for you. The amount of excess she lives in would make The Great Gadsby blush. I wouldn’t take her advice about money or working because either she expresses no first hand knowledge or insight into the painful emotional and economic hardships the majority of woman bear during and after divorce due to her cloistered privilege. However, she is witty and entertaining and has some valid emotional points, take this podcast for what it is, as a look into how the top 0.1% live. I am truley glad for her that her life is happier now and in many ways her lifestyle is aspirational, if you are an Ayn Randian Objectivist. Everyone deserves such joy, but unless you are on the Forbes List, your happiness will look much different. The best quote I took away from this podcast was “I don’t consider Saint Tropez a vacation”
