“While I in no way distrust the veracity of NBC’s reporting I believe that is reckless to release this podcast at a time when CPS is being targeted by dangerous groups linked to Q-Anon. I wonder if this is just a case of a long planned project finished at a bad time considering some of the extreme actions we are seeing surrounding the “save the children” hashtag or if the hope was to expand the audience. Either way I feel like this podcast is adding fuel to an out of control fire. I’m not saying this isn’t an important story or that it shouldn’t be told- I’m just questioning the wisdom of releasing it now.”
