“Love this podcast, as a lawyer in this field who sees this play out everyday. It was Super raw, and real. For those saying it played the “race card”- there is actual data that shows the low income family of color are more pervasively monitored by CPS and their children tend to be in foster care longer than their white counterparts. You can’t have discuss the systemic harms by CPS without talking about race and poverty. It dosent take away from the experience of white families, it adds equity to the discussion. Kudos to the creator for starting the difficult conversation.”
