This is ALL the things!!!
As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and culturally raised in this faith out in the country in a family of 12... breaking the cultural “truth” away from the beautiful doctrines of the church has been a mindset struggle of mine. Finding my own voice, my own purpose, and my own paths that God has for me has been harder than I thought. I love the raw feel of this podcast, as Micah openly shares our faith and how the often misunderstood cultural values we are shown can affect our mindset in the world. She tactfully and wonderfully lays down the offer that we can live our OWN lives, our own purpose and God designed it to be that way. No suppressing certain talents or desires because someone once said it might not be the best idea. We get to grow and shift and unlearn and relearn and just newly learn and it’s all a beautiful thing. I appreciate the relatability in these ways and again, just the raw feel. Like we are sitting at lunch chatting with one another.
