“This podcast is so good I made an iTunes account simply to review it.
First off, the hosts are brilliant. I had the privilege and pleasure of meeting two of them (unfortunately didn't meet Damon aka Fat Tony) on my only ever visit to NOLA. They're fantastic people and it shows on the podcast. They make the podcast really chilled out and homely, and create an atmosphere in which the listener feels like (s)he's a part of the debate.
Secondly, the content of each podcast is simply perfect. Unlike most team-oriented podcasts who talk solely about their team, the donkeys navigate through personal experiences of the previous week's games (Home or Dome), dive into Pelicans Plunge (the city's basketball team's recent exploits) and discuss the games in the coming week (including the Shitty Game of the Week).
Lastly, Jeff does a marvellous job in throwing in hilarious soundbites at the right times. It makes the listener feel more attached to the podcast in general.
Overall, I'd give it a 6 on a scale of 1 to 5. Keep up the good work, donkeys!
