Very good
Amy Peikoff's analysis of the news and culture is from an Objectivist (Ayn Rand) viewpoint, which means: you will find ideas and interpretations here that are correct and cannot be found elsewhere. She does this with insight and an exceptionally clear, structured, logically developed presentation (and smoothly, with no "uh"s!). Just a few topics to illustrate the uniqueness of this show: John Roberts's nonsensical Obamacare opinion, contrary to the common wisdom and top legal analysis, does not at all chip away at the powers of the commerce clause (Amy is a legal scholar); a point-by-point coverage of the main speeches at the 2012 Republican Convention, with analysis of the points; a properly hard-hitting coverage of Islam in the world and in the U.S. today; the truth behind the alleged privatization of Swedish health care; a blow-by-blow on Obama's fantastic Inaugural Adress. And much more. Yaron Brook, President of the Ayn Rand Institute and well known for his excellent philosophical-political commentary, appears often. Go to the Don't Let It Go website for excellent blogs with intelligent, knowledgeable, and well-written participants; plus further good work. And check out colleague Bosch Fawstin's graphic novels (just internet search "Bosch Fawstin"). I haven't read comic books for decades, and didn't expect to be impressed, but was surprised to find Bosch's storytelling, and especially his skillful and energetic graphics, to be powerfully dramatic. More than worth the modest download cost.

Take away the sarcasm and cynical comments and you have very little to listen to of any consequence. I don't find these folks objective at all. It's pretty obvious that these folks find very little if any good in our current president for example. Anyone can make negative comments all day long...Read full review »

I've enjoyed listening to this podcast since its inception. The choice of discussion topics is always interesting and the analysis is spot-on. I just wish I lived in a time zone that made it possible to tune in live and participate in the chat. . .
