“Always looking for new podcasts on film. Tried this one because two people recommended it; took about 15 minutes until they started barely “talking” about the movie. I put talking I quotes because it was more like incoherent rambling with occasional outbursts apropos of nothing. Technically, production is awful; apparently someone can’t set a mic level properly or employ a limiter, resulting in constantly blown mics. The hosts are ok but one can’t enunciate for the life of him.
If you’re looking for something that constantly references pop culture over actual substance, eg you communicate in memes, this is probably a great / funny show. If you’re looking for actual movie reviews or discussion, set your expectations low.”
