Description
My guest today is the legendary singer/songwriter Dan Hill. Without a doubt you’ve all heard his signature hit, “Sometimes When We Touch”. The song has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Songs of the Century and one of Top 100 Most Played Songs of All Time by BMI. A song that Dolly Parton says is her favorite song of all time and she wish she had written it herself. Dan’s other hits include “Can’t We Try” (#1 Billboard AC Record of the Year in 1987, which spent 29 weeks on Billboard charts. and “Never Thought (That I Could Love),” another #1 Adult Contemporary record and along with “I Fall All Over Again,” “All I See Is Your Face” “Carmelia,” and “Unborn Heart,” all reached Billboard or Record World Top 3 positions and remain staples of Adult Contemporary radio stations around the world. Collectively, Dan's music amasses well over one million listeners per month on Spotify. Nominated for a Grammy for Best Male Vocal, and a winner of a Grammy (as co-producer of “Seduces Me” on Celine Dion’s 32 plus million-selling “Falling Into You” album). He is winner of five Juno Awards, the Harold Moon Award, Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal recipient and inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame Award in 2021. Ladies and gentlemen, let’s welcome one of the most iconic singers of our time and one of the most prolific songwriters as well, the one and the only Dan Hill. #recordingartist #popmusic #rockmusic #countrymusic #songwriter #songwriting #canadian #canadiansongwriter #halloffame #celinedion #alanjackson #reba #98degrees #lovesongs #ballads #icon #legend
