“Man oh man this podcast really bummed me out. I’ve liked Jo Firestone from things i’ve seen her do in the past but Manolo’s low energy and absence of any sort of comedic timing just really wore on me. I made it through 1.5 episodes and couldn’t go any further. Is it supposed to be funny? The first one was in that it was basically just a train wreck but then you realize in the second that it’s just going to be awkward and uncomfortable the whole way through. I will give the episode with Aparna Nancherla a try because she’s so great, but short of bringing in PFT as Jo’s sidekick, I think this one is dead on arrival. For God’s sake, don’t let Manolo make up his own themes on the spot, its painful and grating to sit through.”
