Description
Hello and welcome to Dragonfly Tales a story podcast with Emily and Leo. Welcome, one and all to the Merry Merry month of May!  May day is a really lovely time of year –  we celebrate the beginning of summer, which in the Celtic wheel is called Bealtaine. (which is actually Gaelic for the month of May)  The earth is tilting towards the sun here in the northern hemisphere and the warm season is coming.  If the sun were a few degrees nearer we would burn up.  And if the sun were a few degrees farther away all life on earth would be frozen. But the position of our sun is 'just right', just like baby bear's porridge. And it's called - the Goldilocks Zone.  Stories are indeed everywhere.  You can find out more about the Goldilocks Zone Here.  For our story, we return to  ancient Greece and Perseus' quest for the head of Medusa, the gorgon.  Will he succeed, or be turned to stone?? You can find out more about Perseus and Medusa HERE.
