Description
Hello and welcome to Dragonfly Tales a story podcast with Emily and Leo. We hope you're looking forward to SUMMER TIME!  We've been out in the garden weeding and tidying, learning new songs and playing instruments, and playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends.  We've also been walking around London lots, exploring its hidden parts, picking up facts and stories. Leo has also been getting into Japanese Anime and Manga.  He grew up watching beautiful films from Studio Ghibli, and is now watching lots of Anime series.  You can learn more about Anime HERE. Leo's story is an old Japanese tale about soothing babies - something we've all done - and we continue to pass down these techniques through the generations. Our main story is a very famous Japanese fairytale - Momotaro, the Peach boy.  He is a famous hero in Japanese folklore and there is a statue of him and his animal companions in Okoyama. (a bit like the Bremen Town Musicians!) If you would like a shout out, the best thing to do is join the Dragonfly Tales story chat on Facebook.  However, if you don't use Facebook, you can email us at [email protected] and we will try our best to give you a shout out.
