“Update - Very confused about why we are receiving Work In Progress podcast notifications- can this please stop? It feels invasive and inappropriate. A very odd move as well because Sophia overtaking the conversations with self-involved discourse is one of the most criticised aspect of the podcast.
As per the title, the actors don’t know how to do a rewatch podcast. The majority of the time, they don’t discuss all the episode storylines, but instead use themes of the episodes to discuss their personal lives and viewpoints on life in general. I appreciate that to them their friendship is the love story of the show, but from a fan perspective, the main reason we fell in love with the show is THE ACTUAL show and all the different characters. Can there not be a happy medium where they at minimum discuss each storyline as advertised in addition to off topic conversations? Also, when they do actually discuss the episodes, there is a lack of objectivity with their dialogue - if the character does questionable things but it’s their character or an actor they like, the character is praised and allowed to be messy/ a teenager. However the energy when speaking about Lucas is the opposite and contradictory.”
