I in awe of these incredible women and particularly Lady Violet and the Duchess of Rutland for this wonderful podcast. I’m always rooting for the stately homes and the British aristocracy to survive and thrive.
I’m from the Kingdom Bahrain but I’ve always loved the British Royal Family, especially because of the close relationship they share with our very own Royal family. I was excited to meet The Princess Royal at Royal Holloway University in 2017, where I was a student there. As Chancellor of the university, she had visited to open the new library. It was all very exciting, especially because her great great grandmother Queen Victoria had unveiled the university’s “founder’s building” in 1886. Even though I’m now thousands of miles away, I very much felt part of the Jubilee celebrations by spending the whole weekend watching the events!”
