Sophomore Season Struggles
I absolutely loved campaign one, between the plot, characters, and bits, it will undoubtedly be one of my all time favorite podcast series for years to come. Unfortunately, campaign 2 has gone so far off the rails that it is now almost impossible to listen to. The constant infighting between players and frankly weird and annoying fabricated teen drama has almost fully taken over the plot, and after I found myself skipping ahead while listening to episode 31, I now doubt whether I will continue to listen. It’s one thing for a character to be unliked or shockingly destructive a la Game of Thrones, but when there is never any justice brought, character growth, or some kind of resolution that allows for the show to go on, it results in the last 1-2 months of episodes — spinning wheels, meandering endless dialogue, and low ROI for listeners.

SUCH A GREAT PREMISE. Super funny, but also has a lot of heart. This show has a lot of potential at exploring themes of fatherhood and masculinity. Also I hope you guys are ready for all of the Deryl/Henry shippers after the first episode

Podcasts have slowly taken over my commute in place of music. This one as at the top of the pile. Such a fresh approach
