“The setting is incredible, and sets a challenging backdrop for the campaign. The DM, Monte, is exceptionally good, and is able to juggle multiple NPCs from different factions in the same conversation. Throughout the campaign, there are multiple episodes that are absolutely gripping, and will have you on the edge of your seats. The players play optimized characters that may be overpowered in other settings. But in Drakkenheim, their strong tactical play is barely enough to keep them alive. Add great roleplaying (some episodes are all roleplaying with no dice!) and it is an amazing campaign.”
