Why not teach french culture?
I just went through the whole catalog. There are very few episodes that pertain to certain areas of France, certain professions in France, or cultural food or music or art. Etc. So many of the topics are stressful or politicized. The focus is definitely taken away from the language. :( In a podcast about a certain country, and learning the language, you would think that it would be a window or a door way into understanding the country. Especially since having so much English in it hints that the learners would be on a more beginner or lower intermediate level. (There are plenty of resources for people to go to for these kind of topics that include losing body parts, struggling, migrants, etc. newspapers and blogs etc. at the very least you should re-describe the focus of this podcast. And not make it sound like it is for people interested in French and learning French. INDEED, it is learning French but also highly charged topics.)

I think these are wonderful! I have learned so much by listening to them. I have been using Duolingo for three years, and these podcasts add a nice touch!
